Magazine Work

I began my career in print magazines where I wrote and edited content across a wide variety of subject matters and learned from some of the best editors in the biz.

At the late and great Details magazine, I helmed the health and fitness section (called The Body) and also shepherded a number of irreverent features, like this wild introduction to the world’s most litigious man and this profile of a modern-day fruitarian. As a senior editor at Women's Health, my focus was on sex and relationships with a steady supply of back-of-book celeb interviews. Prior to that, I spent a few years at SELF magazine covering health, nutrition and fitness and had my first gig at a gorgeous high-end parenting magazine called Child, where I assisted our editor-in-chief (one of my beloved mentors to this day—hi, Miriam!).

Along the way, I've picked up bylines at Men's Journal, Good Housekeeping, Real Simple, Time Out New York Kids, among others.
